Claudia graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a BS in Psychology and shortly thereafter returned to nursing school where she obtained her BSN degree at Loretto Heights College in 1978. Claudia has also completed graduate level courses in philosophy, medical ethics and communication.

Claudia began her nursing career at one of the largest hospitals in Colorado: Denver Health Medical Center. She worked in the well-baby nursery with a variety of ethnic and socioeconomic groups.

Throughout the 1980s Claudia worked at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and Children's Hospital Home Care concentrating on the care of seriously ill neonates and pediatric patients.

Claudia's first Case Management position, in the early 1990s, involved the management of catastrophic cases. She subsequently went on to work in a variety of Case Management roles including:

• acute care utilization review,
• discharge planning,
• managed care on-site review,
• worker's compensation,
• short term disability management,
• home care case management and
• home care utilization review

Claudia became a Certified Case Manager (CCM) through the Commission of Certified Case Managers (www.ccmcertification.org) in October 2004 .

The American Academy of Case Management conferred the status of "Fellow" (FAACM) in June 2005.

Claudia is currently the Senior Vice President of Case Management Professional Staffing Solutions, Inc (dba The Compass Continuum) and is responsible for all Clinical content and course development for the following 3 web sites: www.AAACEUS.com, www.RNCaseManager.com and www.Books4CaseManagers.com.

Victoria's background ranges from Computer Consultant to Executive Recruiter to Business Entrepreneur. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, N.C. in 1971

She worked on computer systems ranging from IBM mainframes to large PC networks. Then after more than 20 years as a systems analyst, Victoria moved into the sales and marketing of computer -related equipment and then as an Executive Recruiter placing hi-tech sales professionals in positions with Fortune 500 corporations.

With such a wide range of experience, it was a natural progression to start an Internet-based business. In 1999, Victoria and her sister and partner, Claudia Moore, RN, CCM, FAACM started their company, Compass Continuum, Inc.. Within a year they introduced their first website: www.RNCaseManager.com.  Several additional websites have since been added: www.AAACEUS.com, www.CEUs4CaseManagers.com, www.CEUs4RehabPros.com, www.Books4CaseManagers.com and www.Books4RehabCounselors.com -- offering both online and home study continuing education, books, CDs and tapes.
